Andre for Oregon Launches Neighborhood Coffee Meetings
As our campaign rolls toward November, we are now scheduling dates for our NEIGHBORHOOD COFFEE MEETINGS in August and September. If you would like to host a gathering in your home for friends and neighbors to meet Andre, please contact campaign manager Dustin Rose at info@electandre.com to schedule a date. Here is what the coffee program is about:
WHAT IS A NEIGHBORHOOD COFFEE MEETING?
It is a social opportunity for you to invite friends and neighbors to meet Andre at your home, business or office. It can be big or small as you wish. And no, you don’t actually have to serve coffee but typically refreshments are served. (BIG HINT: Chocolate chip cookies are Andre’s favorite.)
DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN ANDRE’S DISTRICT TO HOST A GATHERING?
No. But you may have friends that do live in Oregon’s House District 50 (Gresham) where Andre is running. You can even invite friends that don’t live the district since local political campaigns are about word-of-mouth. Your friends can still support Andre by spreading the word to people they know that can vote for him.
WHAT DO I DO?
Once a date and time are set, you invite the guests and provide the meeting location and refreshments. Our campaign can provide you with the invitations to mail and e-mail and campaign signs for the event. It is best to schedule your event 2-3 weeks or more in advance for invitations to be sent out.
CAN I DO MORE THAN JUST A COFFEE?
Your event can be as elaborate or as simple as you wish. If you wish to host a larger gathering as a fundraiser, Andre can give a violin mini-concert. Contact us with what you would like to do to help Andre.
Thanks for your support in Andre’s campaign for Oregon State Representative!
